Great show once again as always. Try a high protein layer mixed grain for the chooks. And once they start laying crush the egg shells and give it back to them, for the added calcium they require for nice hard shell eggs.

Do worms know you have chooks ? Enjoying perfect worm lifestyle with chooks would be like being at a beach full of sharks, worse, at least sharks are near blind.😅
Hey ace have you thought about making a movable cook shelter on wheels. Put the girls inside and put on the lawn and spaces between the raised beds while are working outside? Benefits Are they sort of mow and fertilize the spaces. Theme they get menu variations then return them back to the coop when you are off site. Glad to see you and self sufficient me cross pollinate. Your birds are beautiful so I got curious. Did you know…. Chickens have a sleep phase where one half of their brain is asleep while the other is awake, allowing them to sleep with one eye open. Rewarding lifestyle. Garden soil, veggies and hens are just amazing. Worm videos you made are interesting. Thanks Marty.

Marty, the chooks will eat all the new banana pups. Don't let them forage around the bananas. They love eating new tender banana leaves. One a week is good for them.
