Repair for Farmstand LED plug

One of my Lettucegrow Farmstand LED rings has been progressively glitching, until it recently took out the entire tower. I assessed each ring, and found the culprit in the attached image — the connector on the right has lost the black plastic tip on its end. That thin black ring was cracked when I initially inspected it, and as I tried to clean it gently, the piece broke entirely. I expect that this is a standard connector type, but do not know its details to be able to search on it. I’m guessing that the black tip is simply an insulating layer for the circuit, and likely could be repaired by attaching a similar replacement.

Does anyone have details on this connector, and/or experience with this failure mechanism? I see no reason to trash an otherwise functional LED ring, for this one small and possibly repairable failure. (BTW, no, it’s not under warranty for replacement.) The connector on the left side of the picture shows an intact tip.
