We had an overgrown olive tree right next to the house. It was there when we bought the house 10 years ago, we trimmed it every year but it has since gotten too big, growing up over the roof and dropping oily olives all over the path to the front door. So we just removed it. Looking for ideas for this space. Some nice low maintenance plants/bushes/shrubs/small trees, that can fill the corner but not get overgrown or dump lots of stuff all over the path.

Remove the stump! It will send up suckers
