This plant has always done well. I’ve had it for 3 years. There are little sprouts coming from that stem at the bottom. Noticed it loses leaves super easily and today I accidentally lightly touched a bunch off. I water every 2 weeks or so when the soil is dry. Recently moved it from its sunny spot on the window to a further away place in same room with south facing windows. Any advice?? I don’t think more leaves would grow on the stem, so should I cut it?

I’ve heard that cutting it makes the base produce more leaves making it fuller:)
