What are these little buds?

I recently purchased this stunning green dragon alocasia from a local plant man along with a few other plants, all in amazing condition.
But the green dragon has all these little buds/shoots! Are they corms? I’m confused because they’re like, jutting out of the soil and there are 6 of them!
