My mothers front yard has been pretty neglected, and i’m trying to make things look good again. It’s an old garden and has these ~25 year old camellias and tibouchinas. I’ve topped the Camellias, but now i’m thinking I should cut lower.
Is there any good way to do this? My idea was to give the trunks a bowl shape so it will grow out rather than up. How would you prune it?
