Plant Clinic

Got gifted this a week ago n im not sure if it’s healthy or not. Any advice?

It’s in my balcony (bright indirect sunlight mostly) only 3 hours of direct sunlight. I didnt water it until now after getting it. It’s in peat moss soil ik it’s not the best soil for succulents on its own. But this is how i got it. I water it a a small amount cuz ik peat moss can hold water for long. Any advice?

Thank you for posting to r/plantclinic!

It looks like you may be asking about a cactus or succulent. In addition to any advice you receive here, please consider visiting r/cactus r/succulents for more specialized care advice.

A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.

Looks like a kalanchoe or mother of thousands. The soil mix for mine is 60% peat moss and 40% perlite. Also looks like it’s getting sunburnt a little bit, but that could also be edema if it was watered too frequently. If the leaves are squishy or wrinkled, it’s thirsty and might enjoy a good soak.
