It is a Himalayan birch I planted myself in April. I planted two actually. The other one doesn’t look as bad but also has some of the same discoloring. I watered frequently and deeply the first couple of weeks and spaced it out progressively. Now water about once weekly. I’m in Portland, OR.

It’s autumn, leaves are being disposed of. I don’t see anything serious.
