I planted up a couple of pots of herbs earlier this year, and they are not looking happy! If anyone has any comments or suggestions, I'd be really grateful.
We live in Brighton, about ten minutes walk from the sea. The garden is between two terraces running north-South, so gets good sun. The pots are watered when it's dry, from a softened & filtered tap, but we've mostly had enough rain! The pots have drainage and have peat free compost of some sort in (I can't remember what I used now).
Something looks like it's eaten them, and the leaves are dying as well.
Some of the herbs, like the lemon verbena and a curry plant seem to be thriving, but the thyme and sage aren't doing well, and the mint looks like it needs putting out of its misery!
