Monstera

Lots of new aerial roots but some leaves are yellowing and dying. What can I do?

My monstera was thriving but now all of a sudden the healthy leaves are yellowing. I have loads of aerial roots coming out of the nodes and occasionally water droplets coming of the leaves. I’ve tried watering less (once every 2/3 weeks) and I’ve tried watering more (once a week) but it doesn’t seem happy. It also looks to me like it’s wilting. Please help!

Can be old leaves that are turning yellow. Also check if tip of the leaves are turning yellow (then its a consern)

What is your potting mix? It looks too gritty and may be retaining too much moisture leading to root rot.

I do agree with with the other commenter on plant dropping old leaves but something about looking at your plants makes me want to check the roots. My Adansonii had not drop old leaves faster than it gives me new ones.
