I have been really struggling over the past 2+ years with this North West facing garden bed to grow a Camelia Sasanqua hedge. I’m at my wits end having lost 3 plants here and am looking for something hardy to provide privacy to this front window. Ideally something 1-1.5m and flowering to add some colour. The bed is about 30-40cm of good enriched soil but below is dreaded clay. Open to any ideas really. Will probably transplant the remaining Camelias somewhere a little less exposed.
