Did all the leaves naturally die off or did you pluck em? Mine always die off

Peres love water, you basically can not over water them. Should have left leaves on the pere to speed it up even faster, hower, some nutrients and water will do good.
Most people are stuck on the cactus rules of thumb with watering them, they do great even in hydroponics
