Snake plants love a tight pot, I would only repot him once the roots are starting to get pretty tight in there (ie you can pull the whole plant and roots up in one go, it holds it shape and you can see the roots are bound) and even then it will only need a slightly larger pot. Too large and you risk damaging the roots over time as it won’t receive enough water or will rot.

This seems like a large amount of plants for that size of pot. First I would ask how long they have been in the pot? if it’s over a year, I’d say it’s safe to repot. Buy safe, I mean it wouldn’t hurt the plant.

I imagine that those new leaves are going to grow in going sideways or flopping out rather than straight up, that’s also a good time to think of repotting.

Snake Plant are root growers, they put their effort into roots before sending up side shoots. The side shoots would indicate that the plant division is mature.

At this point I would repot. I don’t like to just go a couple of inches bigger and plunk the whole plant in, but break the old plant up quite significantly (cut the roots apart with a knife), into one or two pips (leaf sprays) sizes, or what seems logical, trying to make sure each division has some root material. Then space these an inch apart in a new pot (I use stakes and stones to keep them erect). Keeping the same size pot, I would probably put two divisions of that size into one of those pots, with new soil and let them grow for a couple of years to fill up the pot.
