Weight of the rain split branch at a bad union, taking about half the branch diameter. Wondering if I should take the rest of that branch back to the trunk?
Doesn't look like it would be stable long term so I imagine it will come down eventually but afraid of taking too much canopy at once…
Thinking the tree should be fine long term but might look weird for a few years.
