  1. Get into small trees and hedges earn a load I get 500 a day everyday 10 mile radius and I’m only in a little town in the midlands

  2. Hi Adam I do grass hedges weeding patio cleaning

I’ve started doing small tree work and massive hedge reductions great fun

I also did two turfing jobs last year and it wasn’t as scary as I expected

Fencing I would avoid tho 😂

    Nice little chat mate

  3. Hi mate ,

Just like to say thanks for inspiring me to start my own firm, been apart of a tree crew for 7 years and finally took the plunge thanks to your videos.

Keep up the good work hope it gets warmer for us all soon 👍

  4. I try to be as diverse as possible. I love the landscaping side if thing. im also very interested in getting my chainsaw and climbing tickets. Its your business and the sky is the limit. Fence is good to. But i love chainsaws and being an ex digger driver I shine at the hard landscaping side of thing. Also they are a great earner and while there are fewer big landscaping jobs about there the best earner and the easiest jobs to score in my opinion.

360 quid is good going mate. Great vidoe, keep the informational videos coming.

  5. hi

when you charge 20 – 30 pounds every two weeks does that include all of the hedges and weeding as well or do you add more on top for that kind of thing? like if a hedge was too time consuming for that low price

  6. Hi great vedeo , how to work on regular basis ? Got some clients that want regular basis then they just want every month or more , how deal with clients for regular basis? Thanks

  7. That feeling when you go to quote a job, don't want to do it, so you put in a ridiculous figure, but get it. Made up that £300 is coming in but hate the fact you're going to be sore the next day. My average is about £150 a day but that's going out at 10 and back at 4. It's enough for me and I don't flog myself to death. I pick and chose my jobs. And all my customers that want weekly or two weekly are great. Great honest video, something which is lacking in most vids. Hope you pick up some easy money earners and get that Mercedes!

  8. I never used to work by the hour unless I was painting fences. Anything else was by the job. I don’t work for myself anymore but I didn’t like not knowing how much I was gonna earn that month. It fluctuated too much for me. It’s not that easy for everyone to land in that good pocket of local work either

  9. I have always saved up for winter, at first it was for a van, now its for weather and low work, I think many underestimate how winter can impact a gardening business. and youtube and social media can put a false perspective on things, and you start asking why they are doing well and your not.

  10. Watched you on the big t.v Adam, I have only got one comment for you

    Show me the money

Mate, good video enjoyed it , got me clicking 👍

Have a great week ,Dont work to hard its only JANUARY

    Steve

  11. After doing my own round for years before moving into landscaping i worked for somebody 8 till 4 and did a garden or 2 on the way home so bumpedy wage up 100-200 a week which paid for shiny tools🤣and takeaways so still gained nothing

  12. Do you do many now blow and go jobs ?

If you can get the right sort of gardens and a tight route on your own you should be able to do at least 10 gardens yourself a day at say £30 a cut £300 a day.

I try set myself a target in busy season of the least amount of money I make a day and try keep to it.

  13. Thank you for sharing. I am fixed by hourly rate because I find it fair for both client and myself. I don’t do trees or cut more than 5 feet hedges. All my customers have their own designated bins because I’d not take waste either.

  14. In Limerick Ireland the min rate would be 250 plus vat per day per min on an hourly and priced work you’d want 300 per man per day minimum also

  15. Am in my 19th yr of being a gardener . Mainly on the hr rate but when hedges and small trees involved i then give quotes. . But i have the same people each wk . Most being working for since the start unless they really piss me off lol 😆

  16. when you consider a general builder whos really good, has to do alot of calculatioins, phone calls, deal with fire regs, pickup tonne bags of stuff if neeed, pick up timber,. knowledge of decent timber and charges 30 quid per hour then i find a gardener charging 30 an hour is weird. im a gardener too. and a builders labourer and i charge 15 per hour. for both. AND i bring my own tools AND i graft,

  17. 'potential income' might mislead some people, that £200 a day also has to pay for business costs like fuel, liability insurance, equipment and maintanance, van costs, accountant costs, then NI contributions which are different to an employed person.
