located in Florida, in a park i frequently walk my dog. I noticed some of the trees were red and all the bark was peeling off. it doesn't seem to be happening to all of them. Was wondering if it was normal for these kinds of trees or something else. just curious

Completely normal! These look like stewartias to me, though I am not great at species ID. They are known for their peeling multicolored bark.
