Lil pocket terrarium I made. I call it, tic tac terrarium. (It was actually a container from beads.) PS: sorry for my gross hands, I am just leaving work for the day.
So the first video actually shows the aftermath of my bumblebutt move dropping the lil 'rrarium into the abyss that is my Toyota seat. sort of a testament to its integrity tho I guess.
Oh so it’s got a little pepperomia verticillata, and a couple tiny sprouts of crassula pellucida I think? I don’t know how well they will do, as I made it two days ago (Sept 20, 2024) and I know succulents aren’t well suited for a sealed terrarium.. but then it’s just got some mosses I gathered from the driveway and as for a drainage layers I put some crushed up rock and sand created from harvesting Herkimer diamonds, then some charcoal and moss (again taken from the yard or driveway) and some cactus and succulent potting mix, blended with peat moss. Light source is just sunlight, and I spritzed some rain water in upon its creation. And the container is very small, not sure exactly volume, maybe 1/2 fl oz?
