Native Plant Gardening

Seed baseballs

Unscented non clumping cat litter, earthworm casings, water, and Prairie Moon Grand diversity mix.

Hoping the bigger size breaks up upon impact with the ground.

Made 3/4 home Depot bucket of the dirt, cat litter, and seed mix and got maybe 50 of these things. Hopefully they dry alright so I can toss them around my rural area.

The roadsides and little patches of green along the farmland are full of invasive thistles and other grasses and then maybe goldenrod and 1 or 2 asters, and some common milkweed. Nothing else I can tell.

Hoping to reinsert whatever species can survive in the region since either was all logged and turned to farm field 100+ years ago. Not a lot of native wildflowers around as far as I can tell. Juts some asters, goldenrod, and a few Jerusalem artichokes.
