Just noticed this potter wasp nest on my back deck. It looks like its been here for a couple weeks now, but I don’t feel my dog is safe around it as she can walk right up to it.
I don’t want to destroy its home if I don’t have to. I noticed that the wasp will leave for a bit to go collect mud, which leaves me a chance to move the box without provoking it.
Is it a good idea to move the box below the deck where my dog can’t get near it? Or should I completely remove its home?
