I have a bunch of king palms in my backyard. Recently I went in the backyard to water them and discovered one was dead— it just fell in half basically. The top was still growing green, but the inside looks like it rotted somehow. There’s a few others out there that have a black/ white spot on them that looks similar to the one that died… what is this? And what can I do to fix it? Pictures included.
