I’m moving into a new home on the SE side and I’ve always wanted to have a Magnolia tree with some big fragrant flowers. Does anyone have experience with Magnolias here?
I think an evergreen one like Little Gem seems like the best bet, but this will be the first tree I’ve ever planted so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I’m a little concerned about it having a big root system. Is there anything I should plan for in terms of spacing and placement?
I found this site that gives a lot of info about planting and care. Is it a safe bet to just follow the instructions provided.
