What exactly is David?

We have David here. I know it’s a Pothos, but not sure exactly what kind. Also wanting to make sure I’m doing it right and a good job. Propagated from one at work. Got it with three leaves about three months ago. I had put it outside for a few days and actually burnt and lost a leaf. He is now up to five leaves. Since then have moved into a new apartment and have him sitting in this south facing windowsill. Also, what’s up with the little holes/slits in the leaves?
