I’m Growing Mint in a Kratky Setup—Cheap and Easy!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my little indoor hydroponic project that’s been working out really well for me. I’ve been growing mint using the Kratky method, and it’s ridiculously cheap and simple. Here’s what I use:

-A 1kg jar
-An old sock (cut in half to block light from reaching the water)
-A jar lid with a hole for a net cup

That’s it! I just plant the mint, cover the jar with the sock to prevent algae, and I fill it with water and nutrients. Every week, I trim the mint and top off the jar with a glass of water mixed with some nutrients. It’s been an endless supply of fresh mint, and the setup is super low-maintenance.

I’m really happy with how this has turned out. It’s simple, effective, and I always have fresh mint at home. Highly recommend trying it if you’re looking for an easy way to grow herbs hydroponically!
