What’s this hazelnut looking ¿bulb? inside my new plant?

Got this alocacia (labelled fancy alocacia) today for $13cad. Ended up being 2 in 1. Great root system. Just thirsty I assumed. But when separating I noticed these hazelnut-sized nuts coming out of its main stem, inside the soil. Babies? What do I do with them? How can I prop them?

I love when my alocasias put out babies! Definitely corms. I usually wait until they have two leaves to separate them from the parent plant, but you can also just let them keep popping up babies in the same pot and split the bunch when it gets bigger.
