It’s been a month since I first got this Venus Flytrap!
QUESTIONS:
It’s September 26, almost October. When should I start their fridge dormancy?
When I first got them, some of the traps were slightly red. However, the ones that grew over the month don’t seem to have that coloration despite being in direct sun the whole day. Will they get redder during next year’s summer?
How would you remove the dead insects without triggering the trap?

remove exoskeletons with misting water spray bottle, and remember that fridge dormancy is *not to start dormancy*. it maintains the dormancy that they are already in. if you stick a non dormant plant in the fridge they will die.
