Image search says a spurred butterfly pea, but the leaves are different. Someone suggested it’s growing from a vine onto a maple leaf perhaps. I wondered if it was growing from behind it, but had not thought about a vine.

I agree “Spurred butterfly pea” Centrosema virginianum. It’s a vine, that is trailing its way into a sweetgum- not a maple
