Carnivorous Plants

Went on a birthday hike, saw some carnivorous bad boys!

Only pictures of one plant as the others were a bit off trail 🙁

The hike has all sorts of plaques showcasing the local floura and one was for purple pitcher plants. I look 2 feet beside it and there he was!

They were not purple but I'm not complaining. Found in the Pine Barrens of Central/southern NJ.

I knew there were PP that could survive all the way in cananda but never thought we had any in NJ. Very exciting !
