Hi everyone! This will be my first landscape project! I've been researching on how to lay the ground for my rock garden/dry river bed. I saw that that weed fabric or geotextile is not good for the long run. I'm not so sure about the cardboard too. I would like to ask if this kind of mulch is effective and how should I ready the ground for mulch? This is the only available "mulch" in my country. My climate is mostly sun, rain and high moisture.
