I let it dry completely, then completely soak the soil in water. its still in the pot it came in but there hasnt been much growth and ive had it for about 3 months.
I keep it in a window with indirect sunlight, but also have grow lights on for 8 hours a day, as the days are gettinf shorter.

Honestly I would repot, in a larger container, with well draining soil. I would also leave all the tendrils on top of the soil, letting it fill up, it will root all along the tendrils so you can have a fuller and stronger plant. It will have more place to draw nutrients from. When you repot, gently rinse away all the old dirt.
String of pearls can be a pain, but they are beautiful once they decide to thrive.
Have you checked on the roots?
