Soft wilting Christmas Cactus

Please help! My plants always do well for years and then all of a sudden wilt out of nowhere. This Christmas cactus was doing so well, peep all the new growth. But it’s soft and wilty, you can see how thin it is. Idk what to do. I’m afraid to put it in more sun and burn it. The pot has drainage and I haven’t watered it in weeks.

Thank you for posting to r/plantclinic!

A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.

Is it possible it needs more water? They live on trees in the jungle, so frequent small waterings seem to make mine happy.
