  1. Beautiful work they look stunning and what a great recovery on your boo boos too beautifully executed. Thanks for stopping by a bit more to your always a great watch

  2. These boxes are beautiful!! I’ve learned a lot can you make something else with verneer so we all can keep learning. Lastly where do you get those brass base nameplates from?

  3. I did that cross pattern with the lid on a humidor I built. I came up with the idea on my own. Nice to see someone else figured it out too.

  4. At first, I thought you said " Dope Box." I went back and listened to it again, and my 10-year-old asked, "What's a dope box? " I said, "No, he said, "Hope box. " She then says, " Is he from where we used to live? I said, yes he's from Washington. He definitely, said dope box, Dad.

  5. Your narrative is the best Nick, and your skills to me are unmatched. I thought my 30 plus years skills were pretty good, then I see yours and nah, my skills are just poop. Lol. This old man really likes your videos.

  6. Nice work always appreciate you showing your fixes. It is so helpful to see what can be fixed and how good it can look afterwards. Where did you get those latches got a project coming up that might be the trick. Thanks.

  7. I always enjoy watching your videos and to witness your wood working skills improve along with film making is awesome. That FlexiSpot desk is a good idea for a workshop. Keep it up and don't forget you are awesome.

  8. Very nice. While you might consider yourself green at veneering I hope to oneday work up to veneering. Also, looks like we had the same idea for that Flexispot base!

  9. You are amazing, man! I love your style so much, not just what you make, but your attention to detail, your meticulous and artistic capture of video of the project, and your voiceovers. Hell, even the soundscape is great! I love watching you, and I was especially surprised to see when you did the purfling, and also mentioned the idea of covering a mistake with an embellishment – these two ideas intersected in my box, as my shitty mitre saw caused hella tearout when cutting the mitres… So I routed out the corners and purfled it. Bam! Hahaha don't stop man, I'll religiously watch everything you put out!!!

  10. First Harsh Criticism – Loose the self deprecation. It is completely undeserved. Go drink some coffee with EnCurtis and keep up your well pondered narration. Second, THANK YOU!!! I can share this video with my kids and extol Your virtues. Third, I will probably watch this many times. I usually don't do that with "total boat baby" as much as I love him and the kats, only Paul Sellers and Padula. God has blessed you my friend. But, none of us are completely blessed or completely perfect. I come from Asheville, please y'all join us in prayer. Much is desperate there. Thank you much. Cordially David McGuinn.

  11. I was digging the video and then it got to the feet bit. I finished pretty fast after that…. Then I watched the rest of the video.
Also I saw this with the old title and made a note to watch later. Then I was scrolling around and saying to myself “what the f is with showing me some dumb firewood video? Where’s the Sawyer one?” I finally figured it out.

  12. The picture that leads to the video showed actual firewood but you did not use “firewood” at all. Scraps that might end up in someone’s wood stove but firewood no. Your boxes are incredible so please just skip the clickbait.

  13. Funny you are advertising for that adjustable workbench. I just designed and build an adjustable workbench with a torsion top that can adjust from a 24 inch working height to 44 inches. I am working on the video for it.

  14. Oh man…. You are a constant amazement in a world of YouTube blandness. Loving the voiceovers and as usual I marvel at your sheer skill.

  15. As always, totally cool. First question. Can you even get close without a vacuum bag? Second, what came first, the word purfelling, or the embellishment and finding it had a name? 😅 I challenge you to do a whole video that rhymes.

  16. I for the life of me can’t figure out why this channel hasn’t exploded yet. The voiceover here is top tier in my opinion and dudes a damn good woodworker as well.
Idk but I enjoy listening to him talk while I’m watching.
I hope he gains the traction that this channel deserves.
