Water softener float switch
I realized a few weeks ago that the float switch was not running when the water was on. I’ve cleaned it; first with 30% vinegar then with muriatic acid. I still can’t get it to run without tapping it. Since it only runs when the water is on, I’m not looking to run outside every time the water is flipped on.
I appreciate any insights on how to fix this. I have some before and after pictures- pretty easy to tell which is which.
Florida on a well- high calcium, high iron.
