Im sure my manicured "lawn" will trigger some but thats ok. My backyard is a mainly frogfruit with a mix of clover, and creeping tyme. It feels nice to walk on, my dogs love it, and I only have to cut it once a month or so. My front lawn is an experiment of multiple things. Sunshine mimosa, frogfruit, perennial peanut (2 types) straggler daisy in the shade and clover. I hand pull weeds that don't belong and water once a week to help it establish. Let me know if you have questions. I originally had bermuda grass when I moved in and spent about a $1000 in a year for fertilizerand other nonsense plus mowing twice a week. Looks really nice, gonna steal this idea for the back yard area my dogs play in.
Sad how all these new developments clear cut every tree. Plant some now and you’ll have shade eventually.
How did you do it? Kill the grass then spread seed?
