What is this plant?

What is this? And how do I take better care of it? I know we’ve been in a dry spell lately, but these seem to require a deep watering every day or so, or the leaves start to droop.

Looks like Mexican Honeysuckle to me! Fairly drought tolerant but they will certainly perk up after some watering. I may have the name wrong, but I have the same plant and it perked up after I ran a soaker hose through the bed it’s in. While it is drought tolerant, we had an exceptionally dry September (and it’s sadly looking like early October will be the same).

Glad to see mine isn’t a the only one looking wimpy and limp. We’ve been watering every day , I think I need to start adding a little compost and mulch. It’s been a rough summer
