I moved into this house over 5 years ago, and this tree always seemed healthy and sturdy. But as time has gone on, and many wind storms have had my full puckered, I’m wondering if/when is the best time to take this down. For context it’s arguably one of the tallest trees in my neighbourhood, in a fenced in backyard, with 4, maybe 5 houses in rage if it uprooted. To me, this thing is a hazard no matter what direction it falls, but I also don’t want to cut down a tree unnecessarily.
