Sorry for the night time photo. Just came back and checked at night after work. I have a large 10m approx dirt patch which needed filling . I found a guy on Airtasker who said he could fill it in with grass . But for some reason he used a checkerboard pattern. Is this correct ? If not , any tips on how to fix it ?

So the right way to do it, is to have enough grass to cover the whole area.
If there isn’t enough grass, the best way to overcome the problem is to cut the patches into thin lines, and plant them.
The rest should fill in over time. This is definitely a bit weird 😉
