The utility company came through last year and cut down all the trees under the power lines last year. Afterwards we threw out some Pheasants Forever seed mix, seeds from our garden and some I bought from Prairie Moon (black eyed susans). Now we can see the woodies trying to come back in so we thought we could mow it down later this fall. I also bought another bunch of seeds from Pheasants Forever. But we cannot burn the excess and raking seems too much given the amount of area….so do we reseed and then mow down, or mow and throw more seeds on top? Something else? Thoughts?
