Horticulture Terrariums

My first terrarium

Hi there!
Terrarium always made me dream and yesterday I received this “jar” as a gift. Well… it’s not properly a jar since it has one side open. What do you suggest to place inside? A succulent? Or a moss maybe on a rock or bark? Do you think that the open side is a problem for humidity? Thanks for all advices!

    Hey PerspectiveUseful846

Did you know succulents have adapted to grow and thrive in areas with limited water sources, dry periods, and bright direct light? Most terrarium spaces are the exact opposite of that which can cause terrariums to fail! If it’s your first terrarium don’t fret, we have a list of resources to help you build a successful and happy terrarium!

Might be a little extra, but see if you could put a long piece of tree bark in the middle so it literally looks like theres a tree in it. I’ll send a video to what i’m referring to. This would look cool because the side opens. I’d have more greenery at the top tho due to the shape of the terrarium to mask the shape that the bark will be.

Bare in mind, the link is quite a large terrarium build, so it would just have to be scaled down. But I think if could work
