My first year growing dahlias and I’ve fallen in love with them; stunningly beautiful, so much variability in the flower shape, color, size, and plant size. I just have to learn how to support them better next year (better staking system).

    Hi yes staking is important i use green metal rods, many use wood stakes and some use netting and stakes.
    I also think staying on top of the support system thru the season is vital. I only attached the plants to the stake early in the season and I really should have done it again in late july or early august. What is dahlia #3 please?
