A few months ago this cactus turned orange. I wasn't sure if it got sunburnt or had some sort of sickness. I quarantined it and have treated it multiple times with bayer's 3 in 1. So I suppose anything it might have had is gone by now. All the new growth is green, so I think it's okay now. But I'm not sure if it's ready go back in with the rest of my plants. Any ideas?

You did good. Frankly to this day I can’t tell if something is rust or spider mites. I did have some that looked like yours and the problem resolved itself in the scortching sun – so I am assuming it was rust indeed – the new growth looks ok. Keep it isolated though. Treat it some more.
I do not recommend my self-resolving approach but I just had no energy to deal with it and I figured it was either going to live or go to compost.
