I posted in r/invasivespecies yesterday and thought I’d share here too. It makes me wonder what we’ll recognize in 100 years as a detriment. At one point this was recommended by both “professionals” and the government as a way to control erosion.

I mean, that does look to have solved the erosion problem.

And even when one has good intentions, it’s possible to be doing the wrong thing and should be acknowledged. This is something we learn from gardening but can apply to life in general
