Hi! So I've had this olive tree on my balcony for almost a year now. It was going good, not thriving but there has been new growth, although it's still not getting bushy.
Recently it lost a lot of leaves, but there is still new growth, so not sure how worried I should be yet…
My main question is how can I get it to thrive and grow bushy? I'm hesitant to chop the top since that'swhere majority of the leaves are right now, but I will if I have to!
Side question… can I propogate what I chop??
Will send more photos if needed!! Thank you in advance!!!

The plant needs more access to sunlight.
Is there somewhere else you can place it for more sunlight?
And it needs to be lopped, so that it grows more branches lower.
But don’t do it until someone here or in a nursery can advise you how much is safe to take off.
Most large nurseries have a horticulturalist on staff, and they are always very helpful.
