Located in southern Maryland, 7b. Overhauled my lawn with tall fescue at the beginning on September. Everything was going phenomenally until we had a week of straight rain. Now my backyard (partially and fully shaded areas) has this everywhere. Can I save it or am I F’d?

Same thing happened to me in 7B. I ended up putting down disease ex and hopefully it will recover over the next month.
IME that grass is all dead. Next time, mow shorter when it’s gonna be hot, humid, and rainy. That has made a tremendous difference for me. My lawn is shady as well, so it can take days to dry out when it’s long.
I had the same thing happen in my yard in a few places. Hopefully someone can share some details on how to mitigate this, and what caused it.
