Hoya linearis was dying so went all out hoping to propagate. Any tips on how I can help it survive and become a new plant?

For context, almost every strand on the mother plant had turned either partly or almost entirely dry/grey/dropping leaves and had white fuzzy mould closest to the soil. I took these cutting from all the parts that still looked healthy, leaving a bit of a gap from the unhealthy part before chopping. These are now just on my floor while the cut part dries (no pets, no need to worry about the sap)
