Location : east coast Australia.
We've just repotted this big girl. She's looking a bit forlorn at the moment as she was moved from her very shady spot to a sunnier position that was meant to be temporary but life happened and she was there a bit longer than I meant to.
So She's suffered a huge amount of leaf drop in thr last 4 months (our winter although we are coastal and very temperate) and her other growth is very yellow.
She's now about 5 metres tall and that's taller than I'd like, I want her back down to about 3.5m ideally.
I pruned off 3 branches and thought I'd do it bit by bit, maybe 3 branches at a time a few weeks apart.. what does the brains trust think about a hard prune? I'm reluctant to take it all back because then she won't have any leaves but if the very experienced folk here think that'll be ok then I'll go for it. Now is the growing season, our spring and its about 25 degrees.
