Zone 6b Ohio west shade

Cleaned out of west side of the house of not-native wisteria (it's been a 3 year process).

I'm really not wanting to do a formal bed but also trying to make as much of my yard low-maintainence. I am lucky with good selections of county soil & water districts spring and fall sales. Just unsure what I should attend here. Give me your best ideas.
