I’m no good at growing Astros. They usually rot at the neck if I make a single mistake.
So I only have 2 old specimens (25+ years) and I don’t want to lose them.
Does anyone know what these markings are? Do they need treatment?

Edit: I mean the light brown dots not the little white dots that make an Astro an Astro.
Looks like old rust that has scarred/healed
