Lawn Care

It’s my first time

Lady I cut grass for wants me to restore the backyard lawn for one of her properties. She says it has problems with sand runoff after a rain. All she knows is she doesn’t want an irrigation system.

What steps should I take help with her erosion and get grass to grow? I’ve seen adding soil, seeding and tossing straw as a suggestion.

Also, I assume this won’t be a small task. So should I quote her per hour?

WARNING: The window for safe seeding in all cool season zones has now closed. The next recommended window is dormant seeding, when soil temps are between 50F and 33F.

Regardless, if you are you looking for information about how to overseed a cool season lawn? You can find a comprehensive guide [in this post here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/lawncare/s/pUsKCxyvwQ)
