Plant Propagation

Are these cuttings affected by Thrips?

I got a couple of cuttings from an African Fig tree. The leaves already had these yellow spots, ignored them initially and started propogating them in water. It stuck me today that it could be thrips. I have given the cuttings a bath with soapy water. You can still see the soapy water in the picture.

Should throw the cutting? Or can it also affect my other houseplants. Some of the soap water has also seeped in the jar in which am propogating it. Should change water ? Or will it kill thrips which are in the lower section (submerged in water)

I had some other cuttings propogating next to this one and have sprayed all of them with soap water. Please help!

I got them two weeks ago.

I would keep them for now just quarantine them and yes change the water.
