    Hi!
I literally made a reddit account to figure out the best course of action so this baby doesn’t die.
I’ve had this rufibarba for a few months in the same water/corked conditions (with weekly water changes and slight hydro fertilizer). To my surprise I’ve seen lots of growth, and now there’s a bottom stem that’s pushing into the cork lid. I removed that half of the cork the last couple days so that it’s unobstructed.
Should I put it into another medium so that it can continue growing up and out? Or keep it in water and change out the vase it’s in?
I’m pretty new to houseplants so I’d like to kill as little plants as possible. 🙂
